What is the border immersion experience?
United Church of Christ Rio Grande Valley through it's ministry Proyecto RGV have a vision of providing ministry partners, churches, and other organizations with an on the ground, first-hand experience to serve those in need at the border. Oftentimes, churches and organizations aren't sure how to help so we are endeavoring to serve as a hub for the United Church of Christ and other
organizations to come and learn about the border and to get a clear picture of the challenges we face with a border immersion experience. Participants have the opportunity to connect through the praxis of liberation theology from the trenches to find ways to best support our mission and our partners in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas.
